Estes Recovery Wadding is a flame-resistant packing material designed to shield the parachute in model rockets from the heat of the ejection charge. Placed between the motor and the parachute, this wadding prevents plastic chutes from singeing or melting and helps ensure a clean, reliable parachute deployment.
