Der Red Max Model Rocket Kit is a classic Estes-style model rocket that offers easy-building and reliable, eye-catching flights. Standing about 16 inches tall, it features laser-cut balsa fins, a bold skull-and-crossbones water-slide decal, and an 18-inch preassembled parachute for safe recovery. Designed for Skill Level 1 and suitable for ages 10 and up with adult supervision, it flies on standard model rocket engines to reach up to 550 feet.

With a length of 16.3 inches, a diameter of 1.64 inches, and a weight of roughly 2.4 ounces, the Der Red Max presents a compact, stable platform that's approachable for novice flyers. The laser-cut fins improve alignment and performance, while the waterslide decals capture the original look. To complete the build and launch, construction tools, finishing supplies, a launch system, engines, and four AA batteries for the controller are needed.
