Fokker D.VII 87-Inch ARF Giant-Scale RC Aircraft recreates the WWI German fighter in a true-to-scale giant airframe. This Hangar 9 ARF model is sized for serious enthusiasts and is designed to run on a 30cc to 60cc two- or four-stroke gas engine or brushless electric motor, delivering authentic performance with scale appeal. It features molded machine guns, a scale cockpit with a pilot and instrument details, a fiberglass cowl with molded decoration, and Hangar 9 UltraCote covering for a convincing vintage finish.
Built from lightweight laser-cut balsa and plywood, the airframe uses a two-piece bottom wing with an aluminum tube joiner for easy transport and assembly, plus a three-piece top wing to simplify setup. A sprung wooden tail skid, a genuine shock-absorbing main landing gear with a matching paint finish, and 8-inch scale wheels contribute to realistic operation on grass or paved runways. A large top hatch provides quick access to electronics and batteries, while the airframe is designed to accommodate either gas or electric power options with hardware included for the chosen system. The kit ships ARF unassembled with a product manual, and a radio system, servos, batteries and propellers are required to complete the model.
