Hangar 9 Fun Scale P-47 Thunderbolt Plug-N-Play is a complete, ready-to-fly scale warbird designed to help foam pilots transition to a wood airframe. This Plug-N-Play completion model ships with a factory-installed power system and servos, so you simply install a receiver, connect a battery, and fly. Built from lightweight laser-cut balsa and plywood with carbon reinforcements and finished in durable UltraCote covering, it delivers an authentic look that’s easy to maintain. The two-piece plug-in wings simplify transport and field setup, and an optional simulated radial engine adds extra period detail.

Setup is straightforward—main assembly requires no glue and can be completed with common tools, and the airframe accepts a wide range of battery options for varying performance and flight times. Realism is enhanced by factory-installed retractable landing gear, four Spektrum servos, and a Spektrum Avian Smart ESC that provides real-time telemetry to compatible receivers and transmitters. Two decal sets let you choose between Wicked Wabbit and Hun Hunter liveries, while a 14x12 wood propeller is included for 4S operation (5S and 6S packs require a prop change).
