Hangar 9 J-3 Cub 10cc is a giant-scale, 82.5-inch wingspan RC airplane that faithfully recreates the Piper J-3 Cub in a 1/5-scale profile. Offered in ARF and Plug-N-Play formats, it suits a range of power setups and pilot preferences. The ARF version arrives mostly factory assembled and accepts glow, gas, or electric power, while the PNP version comes with four factory-installed servos, a Spektrum Avian motor, and a 70-amp Smart Lite ESC for a telemetry-ready setup.

Constructed around a light yet stiff wood airframe and finished in UltraCote film, the J-3 Cub features a two-piece wing with slots in the fuselage to hold the wing tube for easier storage and transport, along with scale details such as transparent windows, a pilot bust, wing struts, and tail bracing wires. Scale landing gear with standard wheels and Cub hubcaps is included, with options for wheel pants or floats and a shorter 68.5" clipped wing available separately to tailor handling. The PNP version supports 4S–6S power; a magnetically secured top hatch makes battery changes quick and easy, delivering a nostalgic yet modern giant-scale Cub experience for intermediate to experienced pilots.
