Built from lightweight laser-cut balsa and plywood, the FX-3 blends durability with precise scale detailing, including 8.5-inch tires with aluminum hubs, a two-piece fiberglass cowl for easy engine access, and functioning flaps for improved short-field performance. Two-piece wings with folding struts and a removable stabilizer make transport and field setup straightforward, while a sprung, scale-style undercarriage and a detailed cockpit enhance the in-flight and on-ground experience. Designed to accept 100–200cc gasoline engines, the kit includes all necessary hardware for mounting the power system, and an optional tow release is included for sailplane use. Protective transport bags help keep wings and tails safe between flights.
