1/5-Scale Float Set for RC Aircraft (HAN6030)

Turn a compatible RC airplane into a true water-ready model with the 1/5-scale Float Set. Designed to pair with the Hangar 9 Carbon Cub 15cc ARF, these fully constructed floats combine laser-cut wood with a fiberglass front-bottom skin for durability and a bright UltraCote silver finish. They present a streamlined scale strut profile with a painted finish and concealed linkages around internal water rudder servos (servos sold separately) for a clean look, plus functional gravity-drop water rudders for confident water control. Forward ballast hatches make balancing straightforward, and the set is suited for airplanes in the 9–13 pound range. Hardware for mounting is included.

To complete installation, two water rudder servos, a Y-harness, and two 12-inch servo extensions are required (not included). The floats bolt on to compatible airframes with ease, preserving scale lines thanks to concealed linkages and a tidy interior. Forward ballast hatches help you dial in balance for stable water operation, making this 1/5-scale float set a practical, well-made upgrade for seaplane performance.
