UltraCote, Pearl Red (HANU841)

UltraCote Pearl Red is a high-tech polyester RC airplane covering. The Pearl Red color is permanently fused to the film through a patented polymerizing process, preventing color-layer separation and allowing the covering to be repositioned on the model as you work. Lightweight at about 0.30 oz per square foot, it can shrink and stretch to fit tight curves and wingtips, delivering a smooth, glossy finish.

Designed for RC aircraft, UltraCote Pearl Red is fuel-proof to glow fuel, gas, and smoke oil and waterproof as well. It uses a multi-temperature adhesive system that supports both shrinkage and stretch, with adhesion to wood beginning around 200–220°F, shrinkage starting at around 300°F, and maximum shrinkage around 350°F. This combination makes it easy to apply and to achieve dependable results on a range of surfaces and conditions.
