UltraCote, Pearl Blue (HANU845)

UltraCote Pearl Blue RC Aircraft Covering is a high-tech polyester film that provides a Pearl Blue finish for RC airplanes. It features a multi-temperature adhesive shrink system and a patented polymerizing process that permanently fuses the color to the film, preventing color-layer separation and allowing the covering to be repositioned on the model as it’s applied.

Lightweight at about 0.30 oz per square foot, this covering shrinks and stretches to fit tight curves and wingtips. It’s fuel-proof to glow fuel, gas, and smoke oil, and waterproof as well. Temperature guidelines show adhesion to wood beginning around 200–220°F, shrinkage starting near 300°F, with maximum shrinkage at roughly 350°F.
