UltraCote, Pearl Purple (HANU847)

UltraCote Pearl Purple RC Aircraft Covering is a high-tech polyester film used to cover RC airplanes. It features a multi-temperature adhesive and shrink system, and a patented polymerizing process that permanently fuses the Pearl Purple color to the film, preventing color-layer separation and letting you reposition the covering on the model as you work.

Lightweight at about 0.30 oz per square foot, this covering is fuel-proof to glow fuel, gas, and smoke oil, and waterproof. It can shrink and stretch to conform around curves and wingtips, and it adheres to wood starting at 200–220°F, with shrinkage beginning at 300°F and maximum shrinkage at 350°F.
