UltraCote, Deep Pink (HANU867)

Hangar 9 UltraCote Deep Pink RC Aircraft Covering is a lightweight, high-tech polyester film used to cover model airplanes. This Deep Pink covering is designed to shrink and stretch as it is applied, helping achieve smooth curves and tight corners with a bold, color-fast finish.

Its patented polymerizing process permanently fuses the color to the film and allows repositioning on the model, while the multi-temperature adhesive shrinkage system supports easy application. With a weight of about 0.30 oz per square foot, it remains light enough to keep weight down and is fuel-proof to glow fuel, gas, and smoke oil, as well as waterproof. For heat activation, adhesion to wood begins around 200–220°F, shrinkage starts around 300°F, and maximum shrinkage occurs near 350°F.
