UltraCote, Smoke Purple (HANU868)

UltraCote Smoke Purple is a premium polyester RC airplane covering designed to give model aircraft a lightweight, durable purple finish. It applies smoothly over wings, fuselages, and other surfaces, delivering a clean, professional look with reliable coverage.

Powered by a multi-temperature adhesive shrinkage system, this covering can shrink and stretch to follow tight curves and wingtips. A patented polymerizing process permanently fuses the color to the polyester film, eliminating color-layer separation and allowing repositioning on the model. Weighing about 0.30 oz per square foot, it’s fuel-proof to glow fuel, gas, and smoke oil and waterproof. Adhesion to wood begins around 200–220°F, shrinkage starts around 300°F, with maximum shrinkage near 350°F.
