UltraCote Deep Red (HANU871)

UltraCote Deep Red is a high-tech polyester covering for RC airplanes that delivers a vivid, durable Deep Red finish. It features a multi-temperature adhesive shrinkage system and a patented polymerizing process that permanently fuses the color to the film, eliminating color-layer separation and allowing repositioning on the model. Lightweight at about 0.30 oz per square foot, it can shrink and stretch to follow tight curves and wingtips, making it easier to apply for a smooth, professional look. It’s fuel-proof to glow fuel, gas, and smoke oil, and waterproof for added resilience.

Designed for coverage on RC aircraft needing a Deep Red finish, this covering blends durability with versatility. The heat-activated shrinkage helps it conform to curved surfaces, while the color-stable film maintains a sharp appearance. Temperature guidance places adhesion to wood around 200–220°F, shrinkage onset at about 300°F, and maximum shrinkage at roughly 350°F.
