UltraCote Deep Blue (HANU873)

Hangar 9 UltraCote Deep Blue RC airplane covering is a high-tech polyester film that delivers a vivid Deep Blue finish for model airplanes. It’s versatile and easy to apply to most RC aircraft, thanks to a multi-temperature adhesive and shrink system that helps the covering conform to curves and wingtips while staying lightweight.

Powered by a patented polymerizing process that permanently fuses the color to the film and allows repositioning during installation for a clean, precise finish. At about 0.30 oz per square foot, it stays light on the airframe and is fuel-proof to glow fuel, gas, and smoke oil and waterproof. Adhesion to wood starts around 200–220 degrees Fahrenheit, shrinkage begins near 300 degrees, and maximum shrinkage occurs at about 350 degrees, making it particularly effective for tight curves and wing contours.
