UltraCote Black RC Airplane Covering, 10 meters, is a high-tech polyester film designed to give RC airplanes a durable black finish. This black variant uses a specialized multi-temperature adhesive and shrink system to make application versatile and straightforward on most models needing a black coating.

Designed for RC aircraft, the covering employs a patented polymerizing process that permanently fuses the black color to the polyester film, preventing color-layer separation and allowing repositioning of the material on the model as needed. Its ability to shrink and stretch helps it wrap around tight curves and wingtips, while remaining light at about 0.30 oz per square foot. It is fuel-proof to glow fuel, gas, and smoke oil and waterproof as well. For best results, adhesion to wood begins around 200–220°F, shrinkage starts around 300°F, with maximum shrinkage around 350°F.
