Hangar 9 UltraCote Orange RC Airplane Covering is a lightweight, high-tech polyester film designed for model aircraft, delivering a vivid orange finish that can be heat-shrunk and carefully fitted around curves and wingtips.

Designed for versatile, easy application, this covering uses a multi-temperature adhesive shrink system and a patented polymerizing process that permanently fuses the color to the film, preventing color-layer separation and allowing repositioning on the model. At about 0.30 oz per square foot, it stays lightweight on the airframe while offering fuel resistance to glow fuel, gas, and smoke oil, and is waterproof. For application, adhesion to wood begins around 200–220 degrees F, shrinkage begins at roughly 300 degrees F, with maximum shrinkage near 350 degrees F.
