Hangar 9 UltraCote Orange Polyester Covering is a high-tech covering for RC airplanes that provides a bright orange finish while protecting the airframe. This 10-meter roll uses a multi-temperature adhesive shrinkage system and a patented polymerizing process that permanently fuses the color to the polyester film, preventing color-layer separation and allowing the covering to be repositioned on the model as it’s fitted around curves and wingtips.

Lightweight at about 0.30 oz per square foot, it can shrink and stretch to follow complex curves for a smooth, professional look. It’s fuel-proof to glow fuel, gas, and smoke oil and waterproof, making it suitable for models exposed to fuel and weather. Adhesion to wood begins around 200–220°F, shrinkage onset around 300°F, with maximum shrinkage at roughly 350°F.
