UltraCote Cream (HANU878)

UltraCote Cream RC airplane covering is a high-tech polyester film finished in cream, designed to give model airplanes a durable, professional finish. It uses a multi-temperature adhesive shrinkage system and a patented polymerizing process that permanently fuses the color to the film, preventing color separation and allowing the covering to be repositioned on the model during application. Lightweight at about 0.30 oz per square foot, it is fuel-proof to glow fuel, gas, and smoke oil, and waterproof for added protection.

Designed for a wide range of RC aircraft, this cream covering can shrink and stretch to follow tight curves and wingtips for a smooth, reliable finish from wing to fuselage. The adhesive is heat-activated, beginning to bond around 200–220°F, with shrinkage starting near 300°F and maximum shrinkage at about 350°F.
