UltraCote Flame Red (HANU883)

UltraCote Flame Red RC Aircraft Covering is a high-tech polyester film designed for covering RC airplanes. A patented polymerizing process permanently fuses the Flame Red color to the film, eliminating color-layer separation and allowing you to reposition the covering during application. The material also uses a unique multi-temperature adhesive shrinkage system, enabling both shrinking and stretching to fit tight curves and wingtips with ease.

Lightweight at about 0.30 oz per square foot, the covering is fuel-proof to glow fuel, gas, and smoke oil, and it’s waterproof as well. It’s suitable for a wide range of model aircraft and helps deliver a durable, color-rich finish. Adhesion to wood begins around 200–220°F, with shrinkage starting at about 300°F and peaking at 350°F, making it straightforward to apply over complex shapes while maintaining the Flame Red look.
