Hangar 9 UltraCote RC airplane covering in Fluorescent Red is a high-tech polyester film designed to deliver a vivid, durable finish on RC aircraft. A patented polymerizing process permanently fuses the color to the film and, with a multi-temperature adhesive shrinkage system, allows repositioning during application for a precise fit.

Designed for versatility, this covering can shrink and stretch to conform around tight curves and wingtips while remaining lightweight at about 0.30 oz per square foot. It’s fuel-proof to glow fuel, gas, and smoke oil, and waterproof. Adhesion to wood begins around 200–220°F, with shrinkage starting around 300°F and maximum shrinkage at roughly 350°F.
