UltraCote, Fluorescent Orange (HANU895)

UltraCote Fluorescent Orange RC airplane covering is a high-tech polyester film designed to give model airplanes a bright fluorescent orange finish. A patented polymerizing process fuses the color to the film, preventing color-layer separation and allowing repositioning on the model, while a multi-temperature adhesive shrinkage system lets the covering shrink and stretch to fit tight curves and wingtips.

With a light weight of about 0.30 oz per square foot, this covering combines durability with convenience and is fuel- and water-resistant, standing up to glow fuel, gas, and smoke oil. During installation, adhesion to wood begins around 200–220°F, shrinkage onset occurs near 300°F, and maximum shrinkage is reached near 350°F, giving model builders precise control over appearance and surface smoothness.
