UltraCote, Turquoise (HANU898)

Hangar 9 UltraCote Turquoise RC airplane covering is a lightweight, high-tech polyester film designed to give RC aircraft a durable turquoise finish. Its unique multi-temperature controlled adhesive shrinkage system makes it versatile and easy to apply on a wide range of models that call for turquoise.

A patented polymerizing process fuses the turquoise color permanently to the polyester film, preventing color-layer separation and allowing repositioning during installation. The covering can shrink and stretch to follow tight curves and wingtips, while weighing about 0.30 oz per square foot. It is fuel-proof to glow fuel, gas, and smoke oil, and water resistant as well. For use, adhesion to wood begins around 200–220°F, shrinkage begins around 300°F, with maximum shrinkage around 350°F.
