UltraCote, Apple Green (HANU903)

UltraCote Apple Green RC Aircraft Covering is a high-tech polyester covering for model airplanes that combines heat-shrinking performance with color stability. It uses a multi-temperature adhesive shrinkage system and a patented polymerizing process that permanently fuses the Apple Green color to the polyester film, eliminating color-layer separation and allowing repositioning on the model.

At about 0.30 oz per square foot, it is lightweight and can shrink and stretch to follow tight curves and wingtips. Adhesion to wood begins around 200–220°F, shrinkage starts around 300°F, with maximum shrinkage near 350°F. It is fuel-proof to glow fuel, gas, and smoke oil, and waterproof, making it a dependable finish for RC aircraft in a variety of conditions.
