UltraCote Carbon Fiber Covering for RC aircraft delivers a carbon-fiber finish on a lightweight polyester film. A patented polymerizing process permanently fuses the carbon-fiber color to the film, preventing color-layer separation and allowing the covering to be repositioned during application. It can shrink and stretch to conform to tight curves and wingtips, while remaining light at about 0.30 oz per square foot. This one-meter length provides ample material for a variety of fuselage and wing surfaces.

Designed for easy application on RC planes, the covering is fuel-proof to glow fuel, gas, and smoke oil, and water resistant for added durability. Adhesion to wood begins around 200–220 degrees Fahrenheit, shrinkage starts around 300 degrees Fahrenheit, and maximum shrinkage occurs near 350 degrees Fahrenheit, making it versatile for complex shapes and edge work.
