UltraCote 1/2-Inch White & Black Squares Covering is a high-tech polyester film for RC airplanes that delivers a lightweight, durable checkerboard finish. This 1/2-inch white-and-black squares covering features a multi-temperature adhesive shrinkage system and a patented polymerizing process that permanently fuses the color to the film, eliminating color-layer separation and allowing the covering to be repositioned on the model.

Designed for RC aircraft that require 1/2-inch checkerboard squares, it shrinks and stretches to fit tight curves and wingtips, making it easy to apply and shape. At about 0.30 oz per square foot, it's light enough for performance builds, and it is fuel-proof to glow fuel, gas, and smoke oil, plus water-proof. Adhesion to wood begins at 200–220 degrees F; shrinkage starts around 300 degrees F, with maximum shrinkage at about 350 degrees F.
