UltraCote, 1/2" Squares Yellow/Black (HANU936)

UltraCote RC airplane covering in yellow and black half-inch squares is a high-tech polyester skin designed for model aircraft. The color is permanently fused to the film through a polymerizing process, so color-layer separation is prevented and the covering can be repositioned as you fit the model for a smooth, precise finish on wings and other surfaces.

Its unique multi-temperature adhesive shrinkage system lets the covering shrink and stretch to conform around tight curves and wingtips, while remaining lightweight at about 0.30 oz per square foot. It is fuel-proof to glow fuel, gas, and smoke oil, and waterproof, making it a practical choice for a wide range of RC aircraft. Adhesion to wood begins around 200–220°F, shrinkage begins around 300°F, and maximum shrinkage occurs near 350°F during heat application.
