UltraCote, 1/2" Squares, White/Blue (HANU938)

UltraCote Blue & White Squares is a lightweight, high-tech polyester covering designed for RC airplanes. The 1/2-inch blue-and-white check pattern is applied with a multi-temperature adhesive and shrink system, making it easy to fit around curves. A patented polymerizing process fuses the color to the film, preventing color-layer separation and allowing the covering to be repositioned on the model as needed. At roughly 0.30 oz per square foot, it remains light in flight and is fuel-proof to glow fuel, gas, and oil, with waterproof properties for added durability.

Its unique ability to shrink and stretch lets it conform to tight curves and wingtips, delivering a smooth, professional finish. When heat is applied, adhesion to wood begins around 200–220°F, shrinkage starts around 300°F, and maximum shrinkage occurs near 350°F, giving hobbyists precise control over the final appearance while maintaining durability against fuel and the elements.
