UltraCote, 4" Squares White/Black (HANU947)

UltraCote 4-inch White & Black Squares is a high-tech polyester covering designed for RC airplanes. It uses a temperature-controlled adhesive shrinkage system that lets the covering shrink and stretch as you apply it, helping it lay smoothly around curves and wingtips. A patented polymerizing process fuses the color to the polyester film, so the color won’t peel or separate and you can reposition the covering on your model if needed.

Lightweight at about 0.30 oz per square foot, this covering is fuel-proof to glow fuel, gas, and smoke oil, and waterproof. For best results, adhesion to wood begins around 200–220°F, shrinkage starts around 300°F, and maximum shrinkage occurs around 350°F. It’s suitable for most RC aircraft that require the 4-inch white and black squares pattern and makes it easier to achieve smooth, professional-looking finishes on challenging shapes.
