UltraCote, 4" Squares Yellow/Red (HANU948)

UltraCote 4-Inch Yellow and Red Square RC Aircraft Covering is a high-tech polyester film that provides a bright, durable finish for RC airplanes. It’s designed for surfaces that require the distinctive 4-inch yellow-and-red square pattern, making it easy to apply a vivid checker look to wings, fuselages, and other external surfaces.

Applied with heat, this covering both shrinks and stretches to follow curves and wingtips, and a polymerizing process permanently fuses the color to the film, eliminating color-layer separation and allowing repositioning during application. It weighs about 0.30 oz per square foot and is fuelproof to glow fuel, gas, and oil, with waterproof performance as well. Temperature guidelines place adhesion to wood around 200–220°F, shrinkage onset near 300°F, and maximum shrinkage at about 350°F.
