UltraCote, 4" Squares Yellow/Black (HANU949)

Hangar 9 UltraCote RC airplane covering in a 4-inch Yellow and Black Squares pattern is a high-tech polyester covering for RC aircraft. It uses a multi-temperature adhesive shrinkage system that makes application versatile and easy, even around curves. A patented polymerizing process permanently fuses the color to the polyester film, preventing color-layer separation and allowing repositioning on the model. The covering can shrink and stretch to conform to curves and wingtips, while remaining lightweight at about 0.30 oz per square foot. It is fuel-proof to glow fuel, gas, and smoke oil, and waterproof as well.

Designed for RC aircraft needing 4-inch square coverage, this covering offers reliable protection with the flexibility to reposition as you work. Adhesion to wood begins at 200–220 degrees Fahrenheit, shrinkage starts at about 300°F, and maximum shrinkage occurs around 350°F, giving modelers precise control for smooth curves and tight corners.
