ULTRACOTE TRANSPARENT GREEN (HANU953)

Hangar 9 UltraCote Transparent Green is a high-tech polyester covering for RC airplanes that delivers a clear, vivid green finish while protecting the airframe. Lightweight and easy to apply, it’s well-suited for wings, fuselages, and tails, offering a transparent color that remains bright on exposed surfaces.

It features a multi-temperature adhesive shrinkage system and a patented polymerizing process that permanently fuses the color to the film, eliminating color-layer separation and allowing repositioning during fitment. The material shrinks and stretches to navigate tight curves and wingtips while staying fuel- and water-resistant. It weighs about 0.30 oz per square foot and is fuel-proof to glow fuel, gas, and smoke oil. Adhesion to wood begins at 200–220°F, with shrinkage onset around 300°F and maximum shrinkage near 350°F.
