UltraCote Transparent Blue is a lightweight, high-tech RC airplane covering made from polyester film to deliver a clear blue finish. It features a multi-temperature adhesive shrinkage system and a patented polymerizing process that fuses the color to the film, eliminating color-layer separation and allowing repositioning during application. Weighing about 0.30 oz per square foot, this cover offers fuel resistance to glow fuel, gas, and smoke oil, and it is waterproof. Its ability to shrink and stretch lets it follow tight curves and wingtips for a smooth, professional look.

Designed for a wide range of RC aircraft, UltraCote adheres to wood and is easy to apply with standard heat tools. The result is a lightweight, durable finish that protects the model while providing a transparent blue appearance that shows the underlying structure. Application temperature guidance: adhesion starts at 200–220 degrees F, shrinkage begins around 300 degrees F, with maximum shrinkage at about 350 degrees F.
