UltraCote Lite, Transparent Yell (HANU967)

UltraCote Lite in Transparent Yellow is a high-tech polyester model covering designed for model aircraft. It uses a multi-temperature adhesive/shrink system and a patented process that permanently fuses the color to the film, eliminating color-layer separation and allowing repositioning on the model if needed. Lightweight at about 0.12 oz per square foot, it is waterproof and fuel-proof to glow fuel, gas, and smoke oil, and it shrinks around curves and wingtips for a smooth finish.

Applied to wood surfaces, UltraCote Lite bonds at 220°F and begins shrinking around 300°F, with maximum shrinkage near 350°F. The combination of adhesion, shrinkage, and stretch helps it follow tight curves and complex contours on solid wings, open-structure wings, and fuselages. The translucent yellow provides bright visibility while showing through underlying details, and the finished covering resists fuel exposure and water for a durable, professional result.
