ULTRACOTE TRANSPARENT PURPLE (HANU968)

UltraCote Lite Transparent Purple is a high-tech polyester covering for model airplanes. It uses a multi-temperature adhesive shrinkage system and a patented polymerizing process that permanently fuses the color to the film, preventing color-layer separation and allowing repositioning during application. Lightweight at about 0.12 oz per square foot, it’s fuel-proof to glow fuel, gas, and smoke oil and waterproof for dependable performance in variable conditions.

Ideal for wings, fuselages, and other curved or flat surfaces, UltraCote Lite can shrink and stretch to follow tight curves and details. Bonding begins around 220°F, with shrinkage starting near 300°F and maximum shrinkage around 350°F; use heat rather than pressure to tighten the film for a smooth, professional finish. The transparent purple finish provides bold visibility while preserving underlying details and stays securely fused to the film through its service life.
