The Apprentice STOL S 700mm Ultra-Micro Trainer with SAFE Technology is a compact RC airplane designed to help new pilots learn to fly with confidence. Scaled from the popular Apprentice trainer line, it offers short takeoff and landing capabilities in a small footprint, making it ideal for flying in yards, parks, and other tight spaces. It arrives mostly ready to fly, with a brushless motor, ESC, receiver, and servos installed, and a removable wing for easy transport and quick setup.
Powered by a brushless outrunner and compatible with common 2S 300mAh LiPo batteries, it delivers efficient, steady performance, even in light winds up to about 5 mph. A steerable tailwheel and oversized tires help it taxi, take off, and land on a variety of surfaces—from grass to pavement. SAFE technology provides Beginner, Intermediate and Experienced flight modes plus Panic Recovery to help prevent crashes, supporting a gradual progression from learning to aerobatics. Available as Ready-To-Fly with transmitter, battery and charger, or Bind-N-Fly Basic for use with an existing Spektrum transmitter; the wing is removable for easy transport and the durable EPO airframe is built to withstand training flights.
