Tucked 1978 Chevy K10 12.3" Wheelbase Pre-Trimmed Clear Body for 1/10 Rock Crawler (JCO0465)

The 1978 styling represented the 3rd generation of trucks from General Motors, originally designated as the "œrounded line," but known today as "œsquare body trucks." Inspiration for JConcepts came during events such as the Ultimate Scale Truck Expo in Williston, Florida, where tiny truck drivers showcase their best rigs and innovations. The team from Groveland, Florida, aimed to produce a new Tuck body for 2023, featuring fantastic paint and graphics applied on the 78-body by Scale Rat RC, enhancing the photos and debut.

The retro piece's design includes a center bulged section that runs the length of the shell, with an included and pre-trimmed JConcepts decal sheet allowing for vertical signal marker addition. The body blends into the cab with recessed large windows for increased realism, and the large front windshield provides enhanced scale visibility, improving the handling characteristics of the Tucked front nose.

The decal sheet enables users to achieve their desired fit and finish, offering four different headlight and grille combination decals to match numerous Chevrolet / GMC looks and trim packages. Legacy model names like Custom Deluxe, Scottsdale, Silverado, Cheyenne, and Sierra Grande are included for matching purposes. The bed area of the body Tucks firmly to the rear with minimal overhang while the decals also accommodate tailgate trim, rear taillights, and miscellaneous badging.

The clear pre-trimmed body arrives factory cut with an impressive edge finish around the wheel wells and the front and rear bumper areas. It comes with overspray film already applied, facilitating easy removal after the user finalizes the painting and body mounting. Window masks are designed for quick installation into the body, enabling drivers to get on the trails swiftly.
