JConcepts Aluminum and Carbon Fiber Setting Board (JCO2103-1)

Meet the JConcepts Aluminum and Carbon Fiber Setting Board, a purpose-built tool for RC car setup that provides a true, flat surface for ride-height adjustments and final tuning. The board pairs a rigid 2.5mm carbon fiber panel machined with corner radii and countersunk holes, framed by four aluminum trim pieces anodized in blue or black and branded for authenticity. Lightweight and travel-friendly, it can be disassembled for compact packing.

The four aluminum trims form a robust frame using 3mm hardware, with the carbon panel dropped into place and secured by sturdy flat-head fasteners to create a stable work surface. It is large enough for all 1/10-scale vehicles and suitable for 1/8-scale applications, and it has been used by top drivers such as Ryan Maifield and Spencer Rivkin. While the setup delivers a premium look and solid performance, aluminum and carbon fiber surfaces can scratch with mishandling, so care should be taken during use and transport.
