JConcepts Silent Speed 48 Pitch 32-Tooth Pinion Gear (JCO2118) is a precision-machined aluminum pinion designed for 48-pitch RC transmissions. Sitting at the top of the transmission, it sets the gear ratio that drives the drivetrain, with the Silent Speed design delivering a steadier, quieter mesh for race-day performance.

Machined for durability and true concentricity, the pinion is laser-etched to indicate size and pitch. It uses a 3mm set screw that tightens with a 1.5mm hex wrench for secure mounting.
