The Sprinter 4wd front tire features square, angled pins that are stacked vertically to flex and fold evenly across the tire. This stacked tread design is intended to wear less and provide more bite, while the aligned space enhances rotation in turns, allowing for a quick response in straightening out. The team prioritized durability and performance to create a front tire option suitable for various loose surfaces, whether wet or dusty. Given the rise of dirt-oval racing and the design variations in vehicles with mid-motor or laydown transmission options, a new generation pin style, carcass, and outer tread design was developed. The tire's outer sidewall incorporates angled pins to assist with turning and provide necessary rotation in both dirt off-road and dirt-oval racing. The blended tread and tire body are supported by a generous radius, promoting pin snap while resisting tearing or separation. Additionally, horizontal traction bars connect several pins near the tire's center, enhancing push at high speeds. The sidewall area transitions smoothly into a step-spike feature that aids in navigating bumpy sections and improves side-bite. The Sprinters utilize a conventional and popular 2.2" bead and carcass design, making them interchangeable, while maintaining a comfortable ride thanks to the inclusion of Dirt-Tech closed cell inserts.
