Whippits 2.2-inch rear buggy tires with Dirt-Tech inserts are a 1/10-scale, beefy-bar tire from JConcepts designed for rugged outdoor dirt oval racing and a range of grip conditions, including blue-groove and black-groove surfaces, as well as sealed and glue-type tracks. The tread features 45-degree edging with a two-layer pin pattern for a distinct top-and-bottom bite, while long center bars deliver solid straight-line tracking. Heavier pins resist center wear, and subtle Pressure Point pins help manage light dust and maximize surface area where needed. The directional tread can be oriented left or right to tune handling on any dirt oval, and Green Compound offers reliable grip across surfaces.

Under the tread, the carcass uses extra sidewall ribbing to hold its shape through fast dirt oval runs and high-speed cornering. Dirt-Tech closed-cell inserts are included to support durability and consistent feel. The tire is built on a 2.2-inch bead-size carcass, with outer bars that stay tacky longer as center tread wears, often delivering increased speed.
