13mm Shock Pistons 2.3mm Machined with Dimples (JCO5204)

These are 13mm shock pistons machined to 2.3mm thickness with dimples, designed for 13mm shocks. Made from Delrin, they offer a hard, low-friction surface with tight tolerances to reduce blow-by and deliver consistent damping.

Positioned as a middle-ground option between the stock 2.5mm and 2.0mm pistons, they let drivers dial in compression and rebound by choosing hole patterns and hole sizes. The thinner 2.3mm piston allows oil to flow through the holes more freely, changing how the suspension compresses and rebounds for a smoother ride and more precise jump setup. Starting points include: on dirt, two front holes of 1.7mm with 30wt oil and two rear holes of 1.9mm with 27.5wt; on carpet, three front holes of 1.5mm with 40wt and three rear holes of 1.6mm with 35wt. Always begin with smaller holes for testing and adjust upward as conditions require.
