Designed for HO equipment, they should not be mounted directly to metal surfaces or inside metal draft gear boxes to avoid electrical crossovers. For best results, install in insulated draft gear boxes or use the plastic-isolated No. 28 coupler, which shares the same mounting dimensions as the No. 5.
