Scale Head Long 25/64 (KAD156)

The #156 "Scale" All Metal Self-Centering "WHISKER" Coupler features a "Scale" Metal Coupler, which is a smaller head coupler patterned after the type 'E" couplers, along with a Metal "WHISKER" Centering Spring, insulated Draft Gear Box, and Lid.

The #156 Coupler can be mounted using the supplied #242 draft gear box or the manufacturer's cast-on coupler pockets. It is compatible for coupling and uncoupling with other Kadee HO and HOn3 couplers. With the same shank length as the #26 or #46 coupler, the modeler can easily replace the existing #26 or #46 coupler with the new smaller coupler. Made from the same metal as the #46, the #156 coupler offers strength and rigidity.

To prevent possible electrical crossover or shorting that could cause damage, it is not advisable to use a metal coupler directly on metal surfaces or in a metal draft gear box. The insulated draft gear box provided should be used.

The #156 package includes two pairs of the new couplers, two pairs of the #242 gearboxes, and instructions.
