HO Multi-Purpose Coupler 1/4 Center Kit (KAD23)

HO Multi-Purpose 1/4-Inch Center Coupler Kit is a versatile Magne-Matic-style coupler system for HO-scale rolling stock. It supports both Talgo truck mounting and body mounting, offering flexible installation options for cars and other equipment. The kit includes a robust plastic isolated coupler with a centering spring, an insulated draft gear box and lid, and a universal adaptor plate to fit 20-series gear boxes, simplifying upgrades in existing gear boxes or direct body mounting.

Installation can be completed in existing Talgo-mounted gear boxes or on the car body with the provided hardware. The assembly can be mounted from the top or bottom, with the centering spring always positioned on top of the coupler shank for reliable operation. Each package includes two pairs of couplers, making it easy to upgrade a small fleet or outfit a pair of cars.
