500 Bettendorf Trucks (KAD500)

Bettendorf Double Truss Trucks for HO-scale freight cars are authentic replacement truck assemblies designed to restore period-accurate appearance and reliable operation to your model fleet. They replicate the classic Bettendorf double-truss design used by U.S. railroads beginning in the 1930s and seen in interchange service through the early 1990s.

Two compatible options are offered. One is a highly detailed, fully sprung variant with metal sideframes and bolsters, non-magnetic metal wheels, and RP-25 free-rolling axles for smooth, dependable tracking. The other is an HO-specific variant with 33-inch smooth-back wheels that preserves true-to-prototype detailing and markings while delivering steady rolling on standard layouts.
