500 Bettendorf Trucks (KAD500)

33" smooth back wheels provide accurate markings and incredible detail that are true to the prototype. The non-magnetic metal wheels feature highly flexible sprung trucks along with metal side frames and bolsters that are fully sprung for smooth tracking. The free rolling contoured insulated axes and RP-25 free rolling wheels enhance performance. The Bettendorf Double Truss Truck was introduced in the 1930s by U.S. railroads and was allowed to be used in interchange service through 1993. The Kadee #500 represents 50 ton trucks for 100,000 pound cars.
