33" ribbed back wheels feature accurate markings and incredible detail, true to prototype. They are equipped with non-magnetic metal wheels and highly flexible sprung trucks, as well as metal sideframes and bolsters. The system allows for fully sprung, smooth tracking and free rolling, along with contoured insulated axes and RP-25 free rolling wheels.

The Andrews truck represents a turn of the century design that was long lasting. It illustrates one of the first steps in the development of the modern freight truck with its cast frame. The journal boxes are bolted to the main frame. This truck was utilized until the end of the 1950s, although by that time it was commonly used in lighter applications such as refrigerator cars. Andrews trucks are likely still in use wherever logging railroads are operational.
