KingTech K-85G4+ Turbine Engine with ECU (KGT85G4)

KingTech K-85G4+ Turbine Engine with ECU is a compact, high-performance turbine powerplant for RC jet models. This integrated system couples the engine with an onboard ECU to monitor and log operating data, including total run time, helping with setup, tuning, and maintenance. A lighter external Data Relay Module handles data, signals and power transmission, while SBus data transmission simplifies integration with compatible receivers. The package also features a brushless starter motor for reliable starts, a built-in FOD screen, and a micro USB port for future wireless connectivity. The Ground Support Unit helps manage cooldown after use.

With an 82 mm diameter and 205 mm length, the K-85G4+ weighs about 880 g and can reach up to 170,000 RPM, delivering roughly 8.5 kg of thrust under standard conditions. It runs on Diesel, Jet A1 or kerosene with about 5% lubrication and has a 25-hour maintenance cycle, consuming around 300 g/min of fuel. The kit includes the engine, DRM, GSU, wiring harness and tubing set, fuel pump, filter and shut-off valve, fuel inlet attachments, and an instruction manual, making it a complete package for installation in suitable RC jet airframes. For safe operation, the Ground Support Unit remains active until cooldown completes after shutdown.
