L8 Night - 10" Wide Late Model Body

JConcepts is up and running on the Dirt Oval scene and making a splash into competition with the new L8 Night body. Late model vehicles are among the highest class of stock car vehicles in the United States and specialize in wheel to wheel racing while bringing the crowd to its feet. In the radio control world, JConcepts is a leader in aero force development and the latest project, the L8 Night body, is a combination of knowhow, experience, driver testing and advanced concepts.

The 10" wide body is capable of a drop-fit on an assortment of Late Model chassis, with body styling starting up front with a heavily dropped nose pointing the vehicle in the correct direction. Super tall "œpower rails" line the front fenders allowing for corner tracking stability. The offset cab is positioned for high-speed left turning with recessed front, side and rear windows, and dual ribs on the roof strengthen the top of the shell.

The flat rear deck incorporates indented channels promoting flow upward to the large rear spoiler and side-dams. The innovative side-panels of the body feature recessed sections, which accomplish a multitude of design goals in the process. First, the side pockets increase the rigidness of the panel, giving one of the highest aero elements of the body stability at speed and in risky maneuvering situations. Increased resiliency also works to minimize body tucking and helps maintain a healthy distance from wheel well to tire.

Centered in the bonnet, a protection shroud for the mock air cleaner chiseled into the hood of the new body looks very "œLate Model". Included in each package, the pre-trimmed rear spoiler with hardware is one of the most trick items on the market. The slotted side-dams are ready to go and feature an adjustment section of 3 positions for the rear spoiler angle. The rear spoiler is cut, bent and ready to position on the back of the body with the included 9 pieces of lightweight hardware.

The L8 Night body debuted in May of 2019 at the inaugural JConcepts Spring Dirt Oval Nationals in Omaha, Nebraska, to a thrilling reception. As with all JConcepts body shells, the set includes a clear body, window mask, instruction sheet and decal sheet.
