Build this incredible section of the Spanish galleon model from the XVI Century, San Francisco II. Galleons were the most powerful ships of the time and the backbone of Spanish maritime power during the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
The galleons emerged towards the middle of the XVI Century, forming the main nucleus of the Spanish Armada. For almost one hundred and fifty years, these boats were the pinnacle of seafaring due to their great transport capacity and firepower, making them ideal for long oceanic voyages between Spain and the Indies.
This 1/50 scale model kit of the San Francisco II section allows you to examine in depth the construction and structure of the galleon, as well as the details of its three decks. The construction system utilizes a false keel and frames similar to the assembly of the actual Spanish ship. Once built, the galleon section measures 4.72'' (120mm) in length, 26.14'' (664mm) in height, and 12.28'' (312mm) in width.
San Francisco model kit contents include wooden parts of high precision laser-cut board, fine woods, brass, cast iron, and a small exhibition base with a metal plate. For assembly, you will be able to follow an extensive full-color guide step-by-step available in seven languages on DVD for both PC and Mac. The kit does not include printed instructions.
