GT22 22cc Gas 2-Cycle Airplane Engine with Muffler (OSMG1522)

The GT22 is a powerful 22cc gas 2-cycle airplane engine designed for models in the .90 to 1.20 size range. This engine provides an excellent alternative to traditional glow engines, offering nearly 10% more power than comparable 2-stroke gasoline engines. Equipped with a Pitts style muffler that has been reinforced at critical points for strength, the GT22 ensures durability and reliability during operation.

The redesigned IG-02 electronic ignition system contributes to easier starting and is compatible with various battery types, including 4-6 cell NiCd/NiMH and 2-cell LiPo/LiFe batteries. Installation is straightforward thanks to its beam mounting design, making it suitable for planes originally designed for glow engines. The rear-mounted Walbro carburetor is custom-made for the GT22 and includes features that facilitate easy setup.

Included with the engine are a single prop nut with a locking nut, a muffler gasket, bolts, a CM-6 spark plug, and the electronic ignition module, ensuring all essential components are in one package for convenience.
